Stupid, seriously!

When things were good, I thank god for letting me meet this someone special. But when things were bad, I wonder what could be the reason why were we fated to meet.

We’re spending more days fighting than laughing. Stupid, seriously. Basically, a fight can start simply because he makes something out of nothing, over tiny things and over stupid reasons. Fighting to the point that I’m starting to be immune and not bothered already.

You’re not bothered about me, then I’ll stop bothering about you. Period.

Thanks for making me think u wanna meet me so badly after work“, he said. Thanks for telling me it’s a one-sided affair and I’m the only one here who wants to meet you and you don’t care if you meet me or not!

Why is it you’re allowed to go off without saying goodbye personally to me and when I do the same, you got pissed? Double standard.

Each time I scream as loud as I can in the car when I’m so frustrated. Really too frequent. I’m sick and tired of this.

I missed out on my 2nd year celebration of sarcastiquee@wordpress post last month! Naughty, lazy me! I love my blog! Simply because there’s not much posts which makes it easier to read altogether.

The next line will probably be oh so super random but I just feel like saying:

Meeting you was fate, becoming your friend was a choice but falling in love with you I had no control over.

My August have somehow been really smooth. I can’t really describe it but I feel happy and very light-hearted. You might have guessed it, though, but I shall not pop the bubble just yet.

Anyways, it’s a little too late for the wishes but Happy Fasting to all Muslims!

Cheers!~

April Birthdays

Currently listening to: Vestige (T.M Revolution)

April is the month with three birthdays – mine, ayah and umi’s. I received a pretty diamond bracelet from the folks, a clock pendant necklace from the sister and Angry Bird plushy from baby brother. Umi also baked me a special Kit-Kat cheesecake, beef lasagne and ayah bought satay! Had a separate celebration with Fateha. She gave me a high-tea treat at Royal Plaza On Scott’s Carousel and chilling-with-board-games session at Clarke Quay’s The Mind Cafe.

Ayah’s birthday was next. Umi bought a cake from Polar Cakes & Puff and we had homemade Shepard’s pie for dinner. Both Umi and I got ayah a pair of Crocs sandal which perfectly fit his feet! I hope he’s comfortable using.

We had a family barbeque for umi’s birthday at Pasir Ris Park along with the other families. Loads of good food we ate – fried rice, spicy honey marinated chicken wings, prawns, fish, sausages, crab sticks, potatoes and fruits. It was a long and enjoyable day with the family, aunts, uncles and definitely the cousins! I finally got to give umi a Gucci handbag and was glad she loved it. I hope to be able to buy her a bigger luxury bag soon!

Well, that’s that for April. Nothing much to blog about for May so I shall just move on. My next post will be up to date.

Cheers!~

I Know!!!

As promise, I’m back for my first entry for May. I know it’s a little late but I’m now kind of handicapped when the workstation at home died after a good seven years. I “grew up” with it all through my polytechnic days. There were quite a few things I didn’t manage to backup to my HDD – certain pictures which I submitted to DeviantArt. I guess it’s alright. So let me start listing down those wonderful events I had since the start of this year. I’m so late, I know again!

January

Super Junior held their full house two-nights Super Show 3 Singapore concert and I went together with mom and sister for the first night. It was originally supposed to be a one-night only concert was extended due to overwhelming response. We got tickets which was for the second row from the stage! It was totally awesome! I swear the heart of every ELFs were bursting with excitement throughout the concert which lasted for almost three hours! Imagine how long fans had to wait before getting to watch Super Show live, here in Singapore?

Anyway, I managed to grab another ticket for the second night. It was a seat at the opposite side and in the very first row! And for both nights, I got to sneakily take good pictures with my Canon IXUS. Concert-goers weren’t suppose to bring in any cameras and neither anyone were suppose to be photographing even on our own camera phones. And! Did I mention I got to touch Super Junior members’ hands many times? Believe it! The only hands I didn’t get to touch happened to be my three favourite members – Heechul, Siwon and Yesung.

The opening of Super Junior Super Show 3 SG!

One of my best shots - Eunhyuk!

Thank you Singapore ELFs!

February

Chinese New Year – always the time for a short holiday. This time was a three days and two nights trip to Batam, Indonesia. It was fun and not as tiring as the previous year because we needed no driving! I wasn’t fully recovered from flu at that time but still managed to enjoy most of it.

Day 1 - Harbour Front Ferry Terminal

Day 1 - Checking in to Grand Majesty Hotel

Day 1 - Swimming time!

Day 2 - Shopping and they got hats and caps!

Day 2 - Ticklish fish therapy

Day 2 - Playing with fireworks

Day 2 - Group photo

Day 3 - Last meal in Batam

Day 3 - My fish and chips!

Day 3 - Karaoke session while waiting for ferry

Day 3 - Leaving Batam for Singapore!

March

Not much events occurred on this month. Had an outing with the colleagues and we went for dinner at Manhattan Fish Market and bowling at Marina Shopping Centre.

Manhattan Seafood Platter for Two

Grilled Gala Platter for Two

The SingTel Gang!!!

The Tokyo family came for a long stay as well after the earthquake and tsunami that hit Fukushima badly. Got to meet the little cousins again and it was good!

Yawns!

Currently listening to: Heartbreaker (G-Dragon)

When was the last time I did a weekend shift? I don’t know. Last week I had to cover one of the staffs and I got rusty. I’m on afternoon shift today and still in office as I’m typing. It is indeed a very long day. Woke up real early to send the brother to school, then accompanied mom for her routine checkup and after which, went straight to work. I’ve been awake for 16 hours and counting. I hope I will be asleep by midnight, otherwise I’ll be waking up tomorrow looking like a zombie.

Two outstanding summons to pay. One for illegal parking in front of my aunt’s place last month and the other for driving on the bus lane during peak hours. I need to clear it soon before it’ll escalates to higher amount. April, I received big and lost big too. Pardon the Singlish. I think I’m not that lucky this month. For the years I’ve been driving, I’ve never been caught because of these two actions. I almost got into a big accident early this morning and I thanked the cabby for being so kind.

So at 10pm later – I shall leave the office, head to the nearest SAM machine to pay my fine and then walk to the stadium before I can drive home. For all that I can say, I will have my day and all I have to do is just to wait for it. And not forgetting, I definitely will update all past events on my first entry in May! So stay tuned!

Cheers!~

Happy New Year!

Currently listening to: Koi Uta (Tackey & Tsubasa)

I know this year is going to be a tough one for me. Just as I thought I could fulfill some overdue promises, something else just had to get in the way. But with guidance and patience, I hope I can get through this smoothly. Another thing which I always believe – the more you give, the more you get. God is great and He never fail to reward every of your good deed. Insyallah.

I got to spend new year’s eve with family, friends and colleagues – separately. The working team were treated to Ben & Jerry’s ice-creams, Arnold’s chicken and Sarpino’s pizza. Lunch date with Fat, Ira and Nat at Paragon though I only had Thai Coconut drink. Lastly, watched Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian on STAR Movies with the family.

I am four weeks away from Super Junior’s Super Show 3, happening on 29th and 30th this month. This is their first ever concert in Singapore! It will be at the Indoor Stadium. Both the sister and mom will be attending as well. I’m so excited and looking forward to have a great experience when we’re there. We are lucky to be able to get good seats too! Hwaiting!

I’ve confirmed the month for my Tokyo trip. I decided to push it back to November as my youngest brother wants to tag along. I’ll purchase tickets at a nearer date and when its cheaper. At the same time, I’m checking out on exciting activities to do during our visit. Praying I can finalize the plans and settle everything by August. We shall fly after he complete his GCE O’levels.

So watch out, 2011! You’ll be a tough one for me to deal but I’ll make sure to have another good year! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Cheers!~

Gleeriously In Love!

In deeper love with Glee’s version of Teenage Dream! I’ve been loving Katy Perry’s version all along before I came across Glee’s version!

Anyways, December is a busy month as always. Everyone’s rushing for everything. I’m no longer feeling the heat. It feels good to be in my comfort zone. Like finally! Schedule is a tiny bit better than previous. I’m starting back to normal office hours next year. What a way to start the new year? I’m ecstatic about it!

Cheers!~

Tokyo 2011

Currently listening to: Way of Life (V6)

Not that I’m going there any time soon but I’m targeting to visit the land of the rising sun during autumn, September or October next year. I’ve been doing a bit of surveying on flight tickets and also on DisneySea. I’m not worrying much on accommodation, all thanks to Aunt Wati! Below are just some of the places I hope to visit.

Tokyo Tower

How can you not visit the Tokyo Tower when you’re in Tokyo? My reason – just because it’s so famous!

Tokyo Dome

Concert or no concert, I hope to at least be able to set foot in Tokyo Dome. My reason – for personal satisfaction!

Tokyo Dome City

I didn’t even know the Tokyo Dome City exist and Tokyo Dome is in this city. What’s more? There’s a theme park too! So it’s like killing two birds with a stone, yes? My reason – oh well, you all should know already!

Yasukuni Shrine

Not that I have any interest or fascination on Shinto but I find it nice in pictures posted in their website. Thankfully it is in English. My reason – looks good for photography.

Rainbow Bridge

Interesting. Really interesting. My reason – photography, of course! I hope it’ll look as pretty as in this picture!

Daikanransha

Our Singapore Flyer is such a bore and I hope this one not. My reason – another one good for photography.

Senso-ji

I’ve seen this temple gate loads of times in doramas especially in Tiger & Dragon! The giant lantern is recognizable. My reason – a must visit and this ‘I’ve been there’ satisfaction. Hehe!

Toshimaen Amusement Park

How many theme park we have in Singapore? One and the ‘bestest’ ride has been closed for months! My reason – adrenalin rush!

Shinjuku Suehirotei

This should be the correct rakugo theater they filmed for Tiger & Dragon if I’m not mistaken. By the way, Tiger & Dragon is one of my favourite dorama. Watch the video below.

So there you go. Not much places as I don’t want to be too ambitious. Good night!

Cheers!~

Obachan!

Currently listening to: Bokura no Machi de (KAT-TUN)

This is officially a ranting post. I’m going to rant all my dissatisfaction here. I don’t care. I know its not good and all but I don’t care. I’m really acting like a cranky granny today! Grr! Firstly, lack of sleep. Secondly, it’s raining outside on a Sunday morning – almost everyone’s sound asleep but I’m sitting uncomfortably in a chair, alone and pouting in the office. There’s really no life working at night! I don’t hate it. Actually, I’m starting to since I’m almost into my fourth week.

I sleep the moment I reach home and wake up only late afternoon where I have to get ready for work. Same routine for the second worknight but the difference is, I’ll be sleeping on my off-day. By the time I wake up, it’s afternoon again. I don’t go out since it’s already late. The sad part, I’m only sleepy after sunrise. I’ll end up with a headache if I force myself to sleep. So by the time I’m asleep, its on my rest-day. The routine goes on and on. You won’t get it.

Thankfully they are finally doing away with the night shift. I’m so happy about it! One week left and I will be back doing my normal office hours. I hope the transition won’t cause me to have pimples popping like mad again since it will be a Hari Raya month! I’m worried sick. I don’t want to rely on pills to get myself to fall asleep. Ok, now I need my orange juice. :(

Cheers!~
